I actually started using KeePassXC because IT forced me so. Of course the question always remains "when?" and so one can only guess if temporary changes such as what you suggests are worth it. Technically no, but whether or not that is a problem depends on the threats youre worried. I hope to see some developments on the flatpak (or even browser) side that would provide better solutions. Personally I am very much interested in a better holistic solution (for the browser integration). Of course if someone else decided to do it, and do it well, upstream would likely accept it. and also saw another issue where menus opened in strange places on the screen. I doubt upstream has has much incentive to do the work either, considering they don't even use Flatpak. Myself I do use KDE Spin and I do not experience these issues (tested on. Open laptop, wake up windows, open KeePassXC, app shows as Open on the taskbar (preview shows) but is not onscreen (new primary 1 being the laptop screen). The html based documentation that is shipped with the app should also be adjusted.Īs for actually doing it: I'm not the best developer nor do I have the time to implement that myself. Something is wrong in either the db and/or pass/key file transferring between systems. Open KeePassXC, move to laptop screen 2, close KeePassXC, close the lid of the laptop (Windows Sleep) Unplug the screens. KeePassXC already does this (or at least did in the past) for a few features when it is compiled as a Snap package. Ideally this feature would be disabled (for the time being) and some information would be provided as for why. I agree, it would be optimal if this was better communicated. Keepassxc 2.4.3 as installed as a standard deb package works as it should. Please install libsodium via Homebrew until the fix is released, or downgrade to 2.4.1 until we release a new version.
